This desirable form of the White Trumpet has especially stout traps, with a cavernous mouth that makes for a substantial pitcher. Like many forms of Sarracenia leucophylla, Lil' Big Mouth is a tough plant and will keep its autumn leaves well into winter. It can still be seen even after heavy snow, peeking out of the drifts! Although it produces fine foliage in spring, Lil' Big Mouth produces its largest pitchers mostly in late summer and early fall, typically reaching 12 inches on a fully mature plant. The patient gardener will be rewarded with a show-stopping plant in late season.

This came with the small mouth variety. Interesting stoma (mouth), the wider to catch bugs. Very healthy.
