How are plants shipped?
Your plants will be shipped potted in the recommended soil. They will be good in the pot for 6-12 months, depending on the variety. You won't need to repot them, but you can if you prefer your plants in larger pots. Your plants will also be meticulously packaged to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. When you unbox your plants, they will look as if you came to the nursery and picked them up yourself!
All shipments are done through the United States Post Office. Priority Mail delivery typically takes 2-3 days from the time of shipment.
When will my order be shipped?
Orders received by 9AM on Monday will be shipped on Tuesday. Orders received by 9AM on Thursday will be shipped on Friday. In the event of a major holiday, please refer to the calendar below. Tracking information will be emailed to you at the time of shipping. You can expect to receive your package within 3 days after that.
What are your shipping fees?

The upper limit of each range is
the flat rate shipping fee and will not increase beyond that.
Flat rate shipping is reached with:
• 9 plants in 3-inch pots, or
• 4 plants in 4-inch pots.
When you reach flat rate shipping, you can load up on more plants without affecting shipping charge.
I have a pending order awaiting shipment. Can I add to it?
Yes and no. For security reasons, we don't have access to your card information. All transactions must be done by you through the website. To add to your order, place a second order before the cutoff time for shipping. Our system will alert us of multiple orders going to the same address. We will then combine your orders and refund excess shipping fees as store credit only. There is no expiration to the store credit. Use it at any time. Please allow up to three business days for the credit to appear in your account.
If your second order arrives after the cutoff time for shipping, we cannot combine your orders. Your second order will go out on the next shipping day.
Do you guarantee against package theft?
No. When the Post Office updates the tracking to Delivered, the package is now your responsibility. Please provide a secure location for all deliveries. To prevent pacckage theft, you can request Signature Delivery or Post Office Pick Up at no extra charge. Let us know in the comment section during checkout if you require either of these serivces.
Do you ship in winter?
We ship throughout the year. If your order contains tropical plants, we check your local weather based on your ZIP code. If your nighttime low temperatures are 35°F or below, we will provide a complimentary heat pack or two, depending on the size of your order. If the weather is too severe (nighttime temperature below 20°F and/or daytime below freezing), we may hold your order until the next shipping date. This service is complimentary at no extra charge and applies ONLY to orders containing tropical plants.
Outdoor perennials can be safely shipped without heat packs, regardless of your temperatures.
Do you ship to other countries?
We ship plants, soil, and pots only within the United States, including Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa and the Virgin Islands. Digital downloads can be ordered anywhere in the world.
