How are plants shipped?

All plants are shipped potted. Plants are good in the pot for several months, depending on the variety. You won't need to repot them on arrival, but you can if you prefer your plants in a different type of pot.

Your plants will also be meticulously packaged to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. When you unbox your plants, they will look as if you came to the nursery and picked them up yourself! Your plants also come with a 30-day guarantee and care instructions.

All shipments are done through the United States Postal Service. Delivery typically takes 2-3 days from the time of shipment. However, some routes may take a day or two longer. Tracking information will be provided.

A customer sent us this photo after she unpacked her plants. They look like she came to the nursery and picked them up herself! In addition to our meticulous packaging, we include care instructions. Just match the color of the sheet to the color of the plant tag. Your plants are also covered with a 30-Day Health Guarantee when you follow our care instructions.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is based on weight and destination from Eagle Creek, OR 97022. All packages are shipped through the United States Postal Service (Priority Mail). For an exact quote, add items to your cart and enter your ZIP code on the shopping cart page.

PLEASE NOTE: Shipping a potted plant might cost a bit more due to weight, but you will have a healthier plant that's ready to go upon arrival with minimal acclimation issues.

I have a pending order. May I add to it?

For security reasons, banks restrict access to your credit card information. All transactions must be initiated by customers through the website. If you forgot an item, you will need to submit a second order. However, due to the high volume of orders we process, we are not able to combine multiple pending orders. This is necessary to ensure accuracy with all packages.

My plant is arriving late! HELP!

We hate seeing delays as much as you do. Plants are good in the box for 10 days, sometimes longer, depending on the time of year and plant. The most we can do is wait until the package is delivered and go from there. When your plant arrives and you're worried about its health, just let us know. All plants come with a 30-day guarantee.

Do you guarantee against theft?

No. When the Post Office updates the tracking to Delivered, the package is now your responsibility. Please provide a secure location for all deliveries. To prevent package theft, you can request Signature Delivery or Post Office Pick Up at no extra charge. Let us know in the comment section during checkout if you require either of these services.

Do you ship in winter?

YES! We also provide complementary winterized packaging for orders containing tropical plants! At the time of shipping, we will check the weather based on your ZIP code. If frost is in the forecast, we will package your tropical plants to safeguard agains frost damage.

For extra protection, you may request Signature Delivery or Post Office Pick Up at no extra charge. Let us know in the comment section during checkout if you require either of these serivces.

If the weather is too severe, we may hold your order until we see a break in your weather system. We reserve the right to cancel orders that are on hold for more than 30 days due to severe winter weather.

PLEASE NOTE: This service is provided at our discretion and applies ONLY to tropical plants. Outdoor perennials can be safely shipped throughout winter, regardless of your temperatures.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship plants, soil, and pots only within the United States, including its territories. Digital downloads can be ordered anywhere in the world.

Returns & Exchanges

All sales are final once orders are shipped. Due to the perishable nature of plants, we cannot accept returns or exchanges. Orders may be canceled in writing for a full refund until the end of the day prior to shipping. Contact us immediately if you need assistance with a pending order. Please include your order number with your request.
