How are plants shipped?
Your plants will be shipped potted in the recommended soil. They will be good in the pot for 6-12 months, depending on the variety. You won't need to repot them, but you can if you prefer your plants in larger pots. Your plants will also be meticulously packaged to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. When you unbox your plants, they will look as if you came to the nursery and picked them up yourself!

All shipments are done through the United States Post Office.  Priority Mail delivery typically takes 2-3 days from the time of shipment.

When will my order be shipped?
Orders received by 9AM on Monday will be shipped on Tuesday.  Orders received by 9AM on Thursday will be shipped on Friday.  In the event of a major holiday, please refer to the calendar below.  Tracking information will be emailed to you at the time of shipping.  You can expect to receive your package within 3 days after that.

PLEASE NOTE: We will sometimes restrict our shipping days to allow for our staff to get caught up on nursery projects or to allow for much needed R&R. Please refer to the schedule below.

What are your shipping fees?
Shipping is based on weight and destination from Eagle Creek, OR 97022. For an exact quote, add items to your cart and enter your ZIP code on the shopping cart page.

I have a pending order awaiting shipment. Can I add to it?
Yes and no. For security reasons, we don't have access to your card information. All transactions must be done by you through the website. To add to your order, place a second order before the cutoff time for shipping. Our system will alert us of multiple orders made by the same account. If time permits, we will combine your orders and refund excess shipping fees as store credit only. There is no expiration to the store credit. Use it at any time. Please allow up to three business days for your store credit to appear in your account. An account is required to receive the store credit.

PLEASE NOTE: We reserve the right to not combine multiple orders during peak periods without notice. This is necessary to ensure accuracy with all packages. Always make sure your order is complete before finalizing your transaction.

Do you guarantee against package theft?
No. When the Post Office updates the tracking to Delivered, the package is now your responsibility. Please provide a secure location for all deliveries. To prevent package theft, you can request Signature Delivery or Post Office Pick Up at no extra charge. Let us know in the comment section during checkout if you require either of these serivces.

Do you ship in winter?
Yes! If your order contains tropical plants, we will check your local weather based on your ZIP code before shipping your plants. At our discretion, we will winterize your package to safeguard your tropical plants against frost damage during shipping. The method we use is strictly at our discretion.

If the weather is too severe, we may hold your order until we see a break in your weather system. We reserve the right to cancel orders that are on hold for more than 30 days due to severe winter weather.

This service is complimentary and applies ONLY to tropical plants. Outdoor perennials can be safely shipped throughout winter, regardless of your temperatures.

Do you ship to other countries?
We ship plants, soil, and pots only within the United States, including Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa and the Virgin Islands. Digital downloads can be ordered anywhere in the world.
