If you're familiar with N. Peter D'Amato, you'll appreciate this plant. It's a similar cross, but in reverse. Pitchers are maroon with a striped peristome. Lower pitchers are darkly colored and stout. Upper pitchers are lightly colored and funnel-shaped (see third photo). Pitchers on this plant are also very durable, lasting at least a couple of months, sometimes up to six.

Soil: Equal parts dried sphagnum moss and perlite only.
