Heliamphora: Sun Pitcher

As a native to the mountaintops of Venezuela, Heliamphora prefers full to partial sunlight and very mild daytime temperatures (65° to 80°F). It will tolerate hotter conditions, but always protect it from the scorching afternoon sun. Cool nights (below 60°F) are often necessary, especially if the days are very warm. During summer, you may see slower growth, but the plant will pick up again when the temperature moderates. Constant high humidity isn't necessary. At our nursery, our collection acclimates to a relative humidity below 40% during the summer.

• Best for the experienced grower.
• Plants are acclimated for windowsill growing in most homes.
• Inventory changes monthly and seasonally.

Sorry, we are sold out! We have more in propagation, though. Please subscribe to our monthly newsletter for inventory updates.
