This hybrid looks like something Dr. Seuss may have conjured up. The pitchers are cylindrical with a deep V-neck collar. The nectar spoon looks like a decorative quill, which adds to the plant's stylized appearance. In bright sunlight, pitchers turn attractively maroon.

Sunlight: Partial to full sun, but mild temperatures.

Soil: Equal parts dried sphagnum moss and perlite. No garden soil, compost, or fertilizer.
Temperatures: Mild day temperatures. Avoid excessive heat and scorching sunlight. Nighttime temperature of 50°-65°F is recommended. Always protect from frost.
