HOW DO I EARN POINTS?

1) Earn Points with Qualifying Purchases
Get 10 points for every $1 you spend (excluding shipping fees, and gift certificates). To earn points with your purchases, you must be logged into your account prior to completing your transaction. Guest accounts do not qualify for Plant Points.

2) Earn Points with Referrals
When you open an account, you will be issued a unique URL. Share this URL with your friends, and when they sign up, they will receive a coupon for their first purchase. When they successfully redeem their coupon, you will earn points! This new addition to the Plant Points Program allows you to earn points while sharing your passion for carnivorous plants.

HOW CAN I USE MY POINTS?

  • First, log into your account and return to the homepage.
  • Click on the orange tab located at the bottom of the page.
  • Redeem your Plant Points for a reward coupon code.
  • Shop for plants.
  • On the checkout page, enter your coupon code and click APPLY.
Make sure to redeem your Plant Points for a Rewards Coupon PRIOR to checking out. You will also need to enter (copy and paste) the code into the coupon window at checkout. Only one coupon code per order may be applied during checkout. For a list of reward coupons, click on the orange Plant Points tab on the bottom right of the page.

HOW DO I CHECK MY BALANCE?

After logging in to your account, return to the homepage and click on the orange Plant Points tab on the bottom right.

WHEN DO POINTS SHOW UP IN MY ACCOUNT?

Points automatically show up at the time of shipping, when your order status changes to "Completed" or "Shipped".

WILL MY POINTS EXPIRE?

Under the previous program, points earned prior to 2021 have already expired on December 31, 2022. Points earned on and after January 1, 2021 are currently excempt from expiration. Our new program was installed in February 2023.

CAN I EARN POINTS AND USE MY REWARD COUPON AT THE OPEN HOUSE AND OTHER IN-PERSON EVENTS?

Plant Points and Rewards Coupons are excluded from in-person purchases. All features of the Plant Points Program are only available online. However, we will have other types of promotions at the open house and other local events not offered online.

THE REFERRAL URL IS TOO FUNKY. CAN I GET ONE WITH YOUR DOMAIN TO SHARE ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Yes! On request, we can issue you a username to tag at the end of our domain, e.g. growcarnivorousplants.com/USERNAME. The domain with your username will redirect to the referral URL associated with your account.

Contact us with your request. Be sure to let us know the username you want us to use at the end of the URL. If it isn't taken, we'll set it up for you. Please keep your username family-friendly. Thank you!

CAN I TRANSFER POINTS TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT?

No. Points are strictly non-transferable. They can be used only in the account in which they were earned.

REWARDS, METHODS, AND TERMS MAY CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE

Rewards and methods to earn points may change without notice. Expiration of points and coupons may occur at a future date. Should we decide to implement an expiration date on points and rewards, we will make announcements of the upcoming change in the monthly newsletter at least 30 days prior to initiating the change.
