Sarracenia x Hank

(26 reviews) Write a Review
We named this plant after our first nursery dog, Hank, who was a loving gentle giant. Like its namesake, this plant is an unconfirmed hybrid, though we highly suspect that it's a cross of Sarracenia flava atropurpurea and Sarracenia leucophylla. The plant is red, big, and a hefty eater. It loves to bask in the sun, sit in water, and enjoy attention from customers. Its best growth occurs in spring and early to mid summer.
• Established plant in its second growing season from division. (NOT a new division.)
• Grown outdoors at our nursery in Oregon, USDA zone 8.
• Shipped in a 4-inch pot. Care info is provided.
• Plant may reach 18 inches in its third growing season from division.

I have bought other plants online (carnivores and not) and this one arrived in great condition, very well packaged and protected. It has already started producing nice size pitchers. Very happy with this purchase!
