DESCRIPTION

Nepenthes sanguinea is an excellent plant for the first-time grower. It can remain compact for many years, which makes it a great candidate for any sunny windowsill. Large, established plants can be quite impressive, with pitchers growing to 9 inches tall! With good lighting, its firm, waxy leaves will develop an attractive reddish-bronze hue.

GENERAL CARE
Type of Plant: Tropical plant for indoor growing.
Pitcher Size: Up to 9 inches.
Sunlight: Partial sun.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: Equal parts dried sphagnum moss and perlite only.
Temperatures: 70°-85°F during the day; 55°-70°F during the night. Always protect from frost.

• Acclimated for windowsill growing. Care instructions are included.
• Pitchers may or may not be present at the time of shipping.

JUVENILE PLANTS

    I received this fine pitcher plant from you about 1 month ago. It arrived in excellent condition being larger than I thought it would be. I have growing in a windowsill getting morning sun and it already is growing bigger. Thank you for your high quality plants. I will be ordering more soon.

    I have ordered nepenthes from at least two to other reputable vendors. The nepenthes from Sarracenia northwest was most vigorous and health looking of the lot.

    This plant arrived in excellent condition and started growing immediately. After a month in my terrarium, the plant has already needed to be transferred to a larger pot.

    Arrived in perfect condition, very healthy plant. It looks exactly like the one in the picture. Everything I've read about n. Sanguines says they grow fast, which seems to be true, since I've only had it for 4 days and I already see growth compared to pics from when I unboxed it despite any shock from shipping. I couldn't be happier with this plant, I'm excited to watch it grow.

    This plant is doing great in my sunny window. It is producing very beautiful pitchers and is growing very fast. This makes a great house plant.

    The plant I ordered arrived in wonderful condition and is thriving. I will definitely be ordering from you again. (I will need the correct soil in the near future for when I transplant it to a larger container.)
