Nepenthes minima is a miniature form of N. maxima. While it has a similar growth habit to N. maxima , maxima, its leaf span and pitchers are much smaller, with most adult pitchers approaching only 3 inches tall. This form is only found around Lake Poso in Sulawesi, where it grows mainly in grasslands. It's one of the few Nepenthes species considered a pyrophyte, meaning it can withstand brush fires and regrow from its roots. N. minima prefers warmer conditions than other forms of N. maxima but will happily grow on a sunny windowsill and produce and hold lots of cute little pitchers at a time.

ROOTED CUTTINGS
Rooted cuttings are genetically identical to the mother plant and produce larger, mature plants more quickly than plants grown from seed or propagated by tissue culture. Each plant has been growing for 6-12 months since the cutting was taken.

Pitcher Size: Up to 5 inches.
Sunlight: Partial sun.
Water: Rainwater, distilled water, or other low-mineral water measuring 50 ppm or less. Allow the water to drain through.
Soil: Equal parts dried sphagnum moss and perlite only.
Temperatures: 70°-85°F during the day; 55°-70°F during the night. Always protect from frost.
