Nepenthes Wrigleyana is one of the Victorian hybrids that has been replicated by many growers over the years. The parentage is Nepenthes mirabilis x (rafflesiana x ampullaria). The pitchers are very colorful - reddish hues with dark red mottling. The wings on front of the pitcher are from N. rafflesiana. The thick peristome is from N. amullaria. Despite its lowland parents, this plant grows amazingly well in our highland greenhouse. It vines readily throughout the year, though it produces pitchers only during the summer when it's warm and bright. Otherwise, it makes a fantastic houseplant in a windowsill with very bright filtered light or dappled sun.

A really nice pitcher packaged perfectly
I couldn't be happier with wrigleyana. Since opening this BEAUTIFUL pitcher plant up out of its packaging I've been completely in love! It already has two new leaves!! I was originally nervous considering it is a lowland plant but, I'm not anymore! Obviously no pitchers but, it's color its fuzziness its whole character is totally perfect! I'm excited to see if I can get it to pitcher this summer.
Arrived in great condition and started growing very fast right away. I have already had to find a bigger home for it.
Last month I received my first purchase Nepenthes xWigleana. it was packaged up so clever that there was no chance the plant or its soil would move. After the first week as instructed, things were looking up. Since I have received the plant has one trap fully formed with , looks like 3-4 others on the way. I am very pleased with this plant & hope to order more at some distant future time!
