Nepenthes chaniana x (lowii x merrilliana)

This hybrid was bred by the fine folks at Exotica Plants in Australia. Much of the seed grown plants had green pitchers, but we kept this one to include in our collection of mother plants. This particular clone produces fuzzy colorful pitchers. The peristome starts off striped but darkens over time. Overall, it's a very easy growing plant.

Type of Plant: Tropical pitcher plant for indoor growing.
Pitcher Size: Up to 8 inches.
Sunlight: Partial sun.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: Equal parts dried sphagnum moss and perlite only.
Temperatures: Above 70°F during the day; 55°-70°F during the night. Always protect from frost.
