Nepenthes chaniana x (lowii x merrilliana) (Rooted Cutting)

This hybrid was bred by the fine folks at Exotica Plants in Australia. Many of the seed-grown plants had green pitchers, but we kept this one for our collection of mother plants. This particular clone produces fuzzy, colorful pitchers. The peristome starts off striped but darkens over time. Overall, it's a very easy-growing plant.

GENERAL CARE
Type of Plant: Tropical plant for indoor growing.
Pitcher Size: Up to 8 inches.
Sunlight: Partial sun.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: Equal parts dried sphagnum moss and perlite only.
Temperatures: 70°-85°F during the day; 55°-70°F during the night. Always protect from frost.

Rooted Cuttings
Rooted cuttings are genetically identical to the mother plant and produce larger plants quicker than plants grown from seed.
