This plant was first identified as a larger form of Heliamphora nutans and was dubbed Nutans Giant. But, botanists later realized it was a natural hybrid, H. nutans x glabra. An adult specimen is an impressive sight. Its pitchers have the luscious curves of H. nutans but slightly wider and taller. Pitchers on adult plants can often reach 10 inches.
