General Description

Customer Appreciation Weekends

***July 14, 15 and September 1, 2****

(July 14 and 15 are sold out!)

During Customer Appreciation Weekends, all guests will receive a free small plant. You can also enjoy a picnic on us - hotdogs, chips, and a self-serve Italian soda bar.

If you can't visit us during Customer Appreciation Weekends, no sweat! You can visit us on most Saturdays throughout summer. Reservations are required for all visits to the nursery. Select the appropriate date when purchasing your reservation.

1. Space is limited.
The nursery is on residential property. Parking space is limited, so we must control the number of vehicles by charging a reservation fee. The reservation fee is credited towards your purchase of plants at the nursery.

After reserving your time slot, your name will automatically be included on the guest list. Your order number is your "ticket." You can also bring as many guests as you can safely fit into your car.

2. Directions are sent via email two days prior to the event.
Within 48 hours prior to your reservation, we will email you directions to the nursery and confirm your attendance.

3. Visit us only during your selected time slot.
We allow visitors on the premises only during scheduled open houses. Please respect our privacy and visit us only during your reserved time slot. Unscheduled visits will be declined, no exceptions.

4. Wear appropriate clothing for the weather.
The nursery is open air with very little shelter. If it's hot and sunny, you'll sweat. If it rains, you’ll get wet. The walkways are non-paved, so make sure that you wear proper shoes.

5. Watch for wildlife.
We encourage wildlife to colonize throughout the nursery. You might see Pacific tree frogs, dragonflies, praying mantis, songbirds, rabbits, and deer. Lots of garter snakes also make their home among our plants. If you see any wildlife, please respect their desire to be left alone.

6. Keep your pets at home.
We have pets of our own, and our neighbor has farm animals. Since we don’t know how your pets will respond to farm animals or how our pets will respond to yours, please keep your pets at home. (Service animals are welcomed and will need to be on a service harness at all times.)

There are also goats July 29, 2018
Reviewer: Jesse Iford from Beaverton, OR United States
Aside from the always witty banter of Jeff and Jacob (or is it Jacob and Jeff?), even on painfully hot days in July (as I always seem to find the hottest) the nursery is an absolute must see if you can make it. The pictures of the mother plants and bog gardens they post to facebook do not do them justice. Also... did I mention the goats?

A fantastic variety of beautiful plants. It's so great to see them in person versus in pictures,  and amazing to see the whole area filled with Sarracenia. Would love to come back sometime.

As always, my visit to the open house was very enjoyable. It is always fun to visit with Jeff and Jacob and get questions answered. I also purchased a lot of new plants, which are all doing well.
