VISITATION GUIDELINES

1. Reservations is per vehicle.
Space at the nursery is limited, but you may bring as many guests as you can safely fit in your car. The reservation fee will be credited towards your purchase of plants at the nursery. Think of it as a minimum purchase to visit the nursery, but you pay it ahead of time to secure your spot.

After submitting your reservation fee, your name will automatically be included on the guest list. You will also receive an order confirmation, so check your inbox or spam folder.

The reservation fee is refundable up to 72 hours prior to the event. If you need to cancel with less than 72-hour notice, the fee will be applied only as store credit for online purchases. Please sign up only if you are certain of attending.

2. Directions are sent via email on Thursday prior to your weekend reservation.
We understand you might want the directions earlier than that. To limit the number of emails we send out, we provide directions when we send out reminders a few days prior to the event. For an estimate on your drive time to get here, use Google Maps to get to Eagle Creek, Oregon (97022) from your location.

3. Visit us only during your scheduled reservation.
We are on residential property and allow visitors on the premises only during approved scheduled visits. Please respect the privacy of those who live here. Unscheduled visits will be declined. Sorry, no exceptions.

4. Wear appropriate clothing for the weather.
The nursery is open air with some shelter. If it's hot and sunny, you'll sweat. If it rains, you'll get wet. The walkways are non-paved, so wear proper shoes. We will provide complimentary refreshments. A portable toilet will be available onsite. Eagle Creek Saloon is located next door if you want to have a meal.

5. Keep your dogs at home.
We have two nursery dogs on the premises who enjoy playing fetch with anyone who's willing to throw a ball. However, because they are not familiar with your dog and this is their territory, we cannot predict how they will interact. For everyone's safety and peace of mind, please keep your pets at home. There isn't any shaded parking, so we also strongly discourage leaving pets in cars during your visit.

Certified service dogs on service harnesses and trained to perform a specific task are welcomed. Please let us know in advance.

    Great experience

Jeff and Jacob were superb hosts. Loved the chance to mingle with them and other c.p. growers and experts, and to see the Sarracinea NW operation. I learned some useful tips, and was able to add some nice c.p. groupings to my collection. Thanks!!

Your Open House was a fun experience, I brought a friend who did not have any plants but was interested in starting a colletion. Excellent information and lots of help with questions if needed. Refreshments and lunch were excellent. I look forward to doing this again.

It's always a pleasure to come to your gardens and see all the beautiful plants growing and so healthy and to add to my collection. Some day my will grow up to be big and beautiful too.

    Open House

Posted by Kathy Gleason on August 21, 2016

Your Open House impressed the three of us. The hospitality of being treated as "part of the picnic" was appreciated. Seeing these beautiful plants up close has hooked all in our party to a new hobby. Have asked a few questions in person as well as on-line of Jeff and have been well served with his answers.

Amazing. The kids loved it and devoured the hot dogs. I bought a bunch of plants for my classroom. Thank you so much.

My trip to the Sarracenia Northwest Open House was very enjoyable. It is always nice to be able to chat with Jeff and Jacob in person. Everyone who can do so should attend at least one of these events - especially if new to growing carnivorous plants.

    Awesome cp nursery!

Posted by AH on August 20, 2016

This was awesome, you don't get the chance to look at so many awesome cp plants very often. The employees and owners are very nice and knowledgable. They helped me find the right plants for me and made sure I knew how to take care of them! I will defiantly be going back and buying a lot more plants.

    Coming Back

Posted by Marsha Tobey on August 24, 2015

My first plants and I just love them. Huge yard so weed free small group of crazy plants is great. They are like having new pets only no vet bills. Will get more in Sept at the open house and have tons of questions just like last time. Currently they live in their orig pots in large plastic saucers of water but some day they might have a real bog home! Perfect plants.
