The e- book is a very helpful guide for beginners like me because it walks you through how to care for a carnivorous plant. It also explains the taxonomy of carnivorous plants in plain and simple terms and the pictures help identify the different varieties.

Well written, with definite opinions regarding place care. Nice to read a strong opinion, occasionally, instead of choices.

Carnivorous Plant Guide

Posted by Glenn Hopkins on August 27, 2025

After visiting the open house in July, I downloaded the book and read most of it on the flight back to Chicago. Jacob did a great job and didn't get to technical. I wish I only bought the book earlier. Thanks!

Sarracenia past and present

Posted by George Getty on February 14, 2025

I’ve been cultivating Sarracnia probably for the past eight years.Initially with a plant I purchased at our grower’s market. It did so well and I enjoyed it so much with little effort except to admire it as the seasons unfolded. All the subsequent plants I have purchased mail order from you guys. They certainly thrived and now I am caring for the divisions I just did this month. I can’t ask for a better plant to care for.Thank you.

Great information

Posted by Jeff on November 25, 2024

I have greatly enjoyed this book. So much has changed in the knowledge of keeping carnivorous plants and this book has it all. My last Venus only lasted 6 years but now I have changed states and my first one here only lasted two years. With this book and what I am learning I hope to keep one happy and healthy for years again.
