This plant stands out. Literally. Its tall, dark red pitchers tend to capture people's attention from a distance, more so than other Sarracenia at the nursery. Its hood is slightly ruffled with faint hints of white spots. Grow this plant in lots of sun to truly appreciate the full potential of this plant. Look for its best pitchers in early to mid summer, up to 24 inches.
