If you're a fan of Godzilla, you'll appreciate the name of this hybrid (Godzilla's son). Compared to other Sarracenia hybrids with S. oreophila, this one is shorter, about 12 inches, but packs a punch with its eye-catching maroon veins. If you're looking for an attractive early-season Sarracenia, add this hybrid to your garden.

Height: Up to 12 inches.
Sunlight: Full sun during the growing season.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: Equal parts peat moss and perlite only.
Winter: Dormant. Minimal protection in USDA zones 7-9. Mulch in colder regions.

2nd Season Divisions
After dividing our mother plants in spring, we grow the divisions for a year before releasing them. You get a more vigorous plant with a healthier root system when compared to a recent division.
All outdoor perennials experience seasonal changes at our nursery in Oregon.
• January-March: Plant is dormant with no pitchers.
• April: Spring growth will appear by the end of the month.
• May: Fully developed pitchers will gradually appear.
• June-August: Full display of pitchers.
• September: Plant produces its best pitchers of the season.
• October: Dormancy begins. Fewer pitchers. No new growth until spring.
• November-December: Plant is dormant. Browned pitchers are cut off.

Beautiful plant!
This is one of the most attractive plants in my pitcher plant collection. It arrived in excellent condition and is thriving. I'm tempted to replace all of the pitcher plants in my container bog garden with this one.
