This is one of several miniature butterworts that grow up to 3/4-inch. Like most Mexican butterworts, it will go dormant for 2-3 months in winter to cope with the dry season. When the rains return and daylight hours increase, it resumes normal growth.

Size: Up to 1 inch across when mature.
Sunlight: Dappled to partial sun. Avoid hot sunlight.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: 1 part peat moss, 3 parts perlite.
Temperatures: Tolerant of cool temperatures, but always protect from frost.
Winter Rest: Forms a tight rosette of smaller leaves during winter.
