Nepenthes [truncata x (northiana x veitchii)] x ephippiata (Rooted Cutting)
This is a select clone produced by the fine folks at Exotica Plants, and hybrids with N. ephippiata are exceedingly rare in collections. This plant is best known for its extremely dark interior, making the pitcher look like a bottomless pit. The pitchers are large and very durable, lasting over a year in some cases, thanks to its truncata and northiana parentage. They also have very strong ephippiata influence, as shown by the bristles under the lid. Although this hybrid grows very slowly, it is a fantastic plant in a carefully curated Nepenthes collection.
