Wonderful plant
Arrived in fabulous condition! Now it’s up to me!
This plant was part of a open-pollinated breeding at Leilani Nepenthes Nursery. The actual parentage is unknown, though it is suspected to be Nepenthes boschiana x (spectabilis x veitchii) based on records of what was in bloom at the nursery at the time. When we received the first batch from LNN, the hybrid had a wide range of colors and patterns. We kept two particular plants for our collection, a red form ( Clone A ) and an orange form (Clone B).
Clone B has dark red mottling against a yellow-orange background. The peristome is wide with red and red-orange stripes. The leaves are leathery. Overall, the plant grows strongly and is tolerant of wide temperature swings.
