Garden Plants - Shade

Your garden is too shady for carnivorous plants. Carnivorous plants are high-light plants and generally don't do well in shaded locations. Lack of proper lighting is the most common cause of death among carnivorous plants. Ideally, they need a minimum of 4 hours of unobstructed sunlight with very bright indirect light during the rest of the day. The more sun, the better growth you'll see in your plants. If a sunny location outdoors isn't possible, but you have a sunny windowsill, consider growing tropical carnivorous plants instead. You will be much happier with the results.
