While most tropical sundews require at least partial sunlight to thrive, this hybrid requires only dappled sunlight or partial shade. Anything stronger than that, and the plant will slow down significantly. The parent plants (Drosera schizandra and D. prolifera) grow on the forest floor in Queensland, Australia, so they've adapted to lower light levels and mild temperatures. Overall, they're the Goldilocks of sundews, and this hybrid is no exception. If you are new to sundews, try the other sundews first. We recommend this one for the experience grower.

Type of Plant: Tropical plant for windowsill growing.
Size: 6 inches across when mature.
Sunlight: Partial sun. Avoid hot sunlight.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: Equal parts peat moss and perlite only.
Temperatures: Tolerant of cool temperatures but always protect from frost.
