Big Pink is a selected breeding of the white leaf and red leaf forms of Drosera capensis. In bright sunlight, the plant produces long pink leaves that are larger than its parent plants. A fully mature plant has a leaf span of 6 inches and often get to 6 inches tall. As a cool-tropical species, this plant likes it sunny but cool. It may slow down significantly during the hottest parts of summer, but watch it take off again when the summer heat passes. This is the most vigorous Cape sundew in our collection. Great for the first-time grower.

    Healthy Beautiful Sundew

Posted by Unknown on July 2, 2020

Our plant arrived quickly and in good health. It's been a month now, and it is thriving indoors in Boston (sunny window/artificial lights). Dews have become big and look beautiful in the morning sun. It also catches fruit flies and gnats if any.

    Great big capacity.

It captured a lot of fruit flies/fungus gnats, which is the exact reason I purchased! Using rainwater exclusively, and the plant seems happy with it.

    Happy plant

Ordered a Drosera “Big Pink”. It arrived in a timely fashion and was well packaged. Plant started putting on new growth pretty quickly. Pretty good considering winter is still hanging on here. Fed it some Freeze dried Bloodworms crushed and mixed with water. It ate that like a hungry Wolf. Nice addition to the Carnivorous kitchen window.

    Love my Big Pink!

This plant arrived in great condition and was very carefully packaged. As with any plant shipped in the mail, a couple of stems died soon after arriving, but it’s growing like a weed now! It does a good job of catching gnats and definitely cuts down on the population. It’s very pretty as well. Great plant
