https://www.growcarnivorousplants.com/drosera-capensis-big-pink/?showHidden=trueBig Pink is a selected breeding of the white leaf and red leaf forms of Drosera capensis. In bright sunlight, the plant produces long pink leaves that are larger than its parent plants. A fully mature plant has a leaf span of 6 inches and often get to 6 inches tall. As a cool-tropical species, this plant likes it sunny but cool. It may slow down significantly during the hottest parts of summer, but watch it take off again when the summer heat passes. This is the most vigorous Cape sundew in our collection. Great for the first-time grower.

    Such a beautiful Sundew!

I was so excited to receive my Sundew, as this was my first carnivorous plant. It was packaged very well and made it through shipping perfectly. She is thriving in my kitchen windowsill that faces the West. She is quite content and is very active since it is summer. Thank you for this gorgeous plant!

    Very healthy plant

I'm new to carnivorous plants, except for one Venus fly trap I've had for a couple of years, and was excited to breach out by ordering sundews. I ordered this d. capensis, big pink and a d. spatulata Both arrived quickly and in good condition and were packaged well. Will definitely order from Sarracenia Northwest again.

    Healthy weird plants!

Posted by Mark Morris on May 14, 2021

The plants arrived in beautiful conditions and packed well. Surprised at how big they already were. My plants seem to be getting comfortable with their new environment and locations. They have been in my seeding area under grow lights all day and I have only watered with tap water. I know it’s says not to but our water here is not hard and all my house plants love it too. Only one or two traps have died back and they are munching on my little gnats and fruit flies in the nursing area. My son loves and is very curious about plants and these are great for teaching. Super much better than the ones in the stores.

Awesome plants; even better customer service..

I ordered a couple of these and I live in Denver. USPS left them in their van overnight when it got really cold and it killed them. They were replaced immediately and the replacements that arrived looked amazing and they are growing so fast. I will definitely be doing repeat business with these guys. Thanks again!!
