Plants over the years
I have ordered plants from you and also bought them when you had the open houses. The plants I received are thriving on my kitchen patio. I have them in black rubber tubs with drainage holes in the sides and lava rock under the planting mixture. They are in full sun and stay out in the winter. the ones I had shipped arrived in excellent condition and they all continue to grow bigger every year. Thank you.

A new addition
I have never grown a carnivorous plant before and decided to give it a try. I purchased the hardy Venus fly trap in hopes it would be forgiving of my mistakes. The plant arrived promptly and was well packaged to ensure its proper moisture while shipping. I repotted the plant into a larger deeper ceramic pot to help establish deep roots for the winter. The plant has been doing ok. The shoot are turning black one by one which worries me, but it is still trying to produce new leaves as well so that must be a good thing. I keep the soil moist with distilled water as it spends its day mostly in sunshine on the back deck. I can't even explain the joy I had the I saw it catch an ant for the first time. I hope the plant survives the winter as it claims to be able to, and returns this spring even stronger. We shall see!
