Posted by Mark Georgio on April 23, 2020

I purchased a few pitcher plants years ago and I recently just built a indoor greenhouse. So I decided to order the plants that I Fell in love with from the same people. Plants came in fast and all bundled up, they were not dried out and looked great. After a few weeks in the greenhouse, They are in Heaven! Thank You so much guys!!!! Will be buying more soon.

    Venus Flytraps

Posted by Unknown on January 13, 2020

I teach 5th grade in Ferguson, MO. I thought acquiring a Venus flytrap as our class pet would be an awesome wrap up for our life science unit! Students loved the plant so much! Wanted to name it but they couldn’t reach a consensus ...sooooo they decided to cast secret ballots for either a girl (Venus) or boy (Vincent). After a gender reveal with balloons....it’s a boy! Vincent Valentine! Plant appears to be hardy and thriving! Thank you for our Vincent!

Did not survive the winter Zone 7A

Posted by Patricia Cimino on April 5, 2019

I purchased Dionaea muscipula "Dente Flytrap" in September 2018. I bought a portable greenhouse and kept them in there through the coldest days of winter but they still died. Bought special soil to repot and used distilled water. Very sad. *** RESPONSE BY SARRACENIA NORTHWEST *** I'm sorry to hear about your flytrap! Many things can happen during winter dormancy, so it's hard to assess what went wrong. I noticed that you purchased the ebook. Make sure to read the section "When Winter Care Goes Wrong." You also mentioned that you purchased special soil to repot your plant. I checked my records and I didn't see any purchases of soil from you, just the flytrap and ebook. Without knowing what you meant by special soil and the source of your soil, it's difficult to assess if that is where the problem may have been. We're always here to help you out.
