As with all Utricularia, commonly called bladderworts, the carnivorous activity occurs beneath the soil surface. Little bladder-like structures along the plant's roots capture teeny-tiny soil critters, such as nematodes. While this might not be terribly exciting for most first-time growers, many growers have come to appreciate bladderworts for their beautiful flowers. Utricularia sandersonii is most noted for its small rabbit-like flowers. Our particular clone, however, looks more like angry rabbits. (We try not to take it personally.) For continuous flowers throughout the year, provide warm nights (above 65°F).

    Great plant

In flower and lots of leaves at the soil level upon receipt. The quality of the plants from SN are always unmatched by other CP nurseries in my experience. By far my #1 choice for a CP nursery.
