Utricularia fulva
$18.95
As with all bladderworts (Utricularia), the carnivorous activity occurs beneath the soil surface. Little bladder-like structures along the plant's roots capture teeny-tiny soil critters, such as nematodes. While this might not be terribly exciting for most first-time growers, many growers have come to appreciate bladderworts for their beautiful flowers. Utricularia fulva produces attractive orange flowers during the winter months. It's leaves are very, very small and remain on the soil surface.
