Sarracenia purpurea x minor

What an adorable plant - it's wearing a bonnet! This plant is a tough grower that can keep its leaves through most winters. Traps are short and nearly pure red, slightly curved, with an oversized lid shrouding a small mouth. In late season, traps can turn from strawberry red to a deep burgundy, which they will keep through cold weather. An excellent option for the grower interested in something tough yet ornamental for their carnivorous menagerie. Pitchers on an adult plant reach 6-8 inches.

Bought this along with my S purpurea venosa, and of coarse it was packed well--it's a beautiful plant and I really like it.

    These are real cuties too

I bought several of these for their bright yellow to go alone with the beautiful reds of the other Sarracenia. With a few green and white type of Sarracenia, these yellow lovelies are a great addition for the 'The Dog Barn'.

    Nice Plant and Nice Packaging

I ordered one S. x "Yellow Jacket" and one S. rosea. Both plants arrived in great condition. I have never had anyone so carefully pack and ship carnivorous plants to me; I was surprised. The S. x "Yellow Jacket" is a beautiful plant and is larger than I expected for a small plant. It is an intriguing plant; it has yellow pitchers, yellow and red pitchers, and green and red pitchers. I am very satisfied with my order.
