Sarracenia oreophila x flava cuprea
This hybrid grows vigorously at our nursery. It has stout pitchers that flares open; its hood sports a bronze hue. Because of its parentage, it's an early season plant that will be one of the first Sarracenia with open pitchers at the start of the growing season. Overall, it's a robust, beefy plant.

2nd Season Divisions
After dividing our mother plants in spring, we grow the divisions for a year before releasing them. You get a more vigorous plant with a healthier root system when compared to a recent division.
All outdoor perennials experience seasonal changes at our nursery in Oregon.

• April: Spring growth will appear by the end of the month.
• May: Fully developed pitchers will start to appear.
• June: Full display of pitchers. This plant will look its best!
• July-August: Plant will slow down when it’s hot. Some minor spotting.
• September-October: Dormancy begins. Fewer pitchers. No new growth until spring.
• November-December: Plant is dormant. Browned pitchers are cut off.

S. Oreophila x flava cuprea
This plant was much bigger than I expected it to be, and immediately started putting in work eating bugs. It was packaged and shipped very well. Such a beautiful sarracenia! Highly recommend!
