This form of S. leucophylla has extraordinarily pouty lips, more so than other forms. We're not sure how we acquired it, but we think it grew from an open-pollinated seed in our collection, since that's how we get most of our plants. A fellow grower drooled over this plant and asked Jacob what he was going to call it. He jokingly said, "Juju Lips." That was a term he used in Hawaii as a kid for someone with large lips because those lips are magic! Who wouldn't want to be kissed by large, magic lips? But we dropped the "lips" and just call it "Juju" because of the magical qualities it imparts when bred with other plants. Like other forms of S. leucophylla, this plant produces its largest pitchers and most pronounced pouty lips in late summer.
