This particular clone was a cross between two ornata forms that originated in Bulloch County, GA. It was selected because of its heavy-netted, dark veining throughout the pitcher. In early season, the veins are dark red. As the season progresses, the veins turn almost black (see the last photo). The heavy, dark veins make the plant highly valuable for breeding. But just having it in your collection is noteworthy enough. Stunning to look at. Rare to find.
