Because of Its porous nature, pumice rock makes a great planter for carnivorous plants. Just set the rock in saucer or dish (not included) with one to two inches of water; the rock will absorb water to keep the media moist but prevent the media form being waterlogged. Rocks are already carved out to form a planter. This rock garden comes with Nepenthes Gaya, a tropical pitcher plant great for first-time growers. Set the rock garden in a windowsill that gets partial direct sunlight. The media is also topped dressed with live sphagnum moss to enhance the wicking action of the rock. (Your plant can remain in the rock for up to two years. After that, transfer the plant to a pot and reuse the rock for another carnivorous plant. Visit our YouTube channel for more information.)
Plants You Receive
The rock planter is approximately 4-6 inches across. Color, size, and shape of the planter will vary. Nepenthes is approximately 4 inches across (small to medium size) and may or may not have pitchers at the time of shipping. Media is topped dressed with live sphagnum moss.

Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
