This cultivar hybrid grows quite large, 6+ inches in diameter! The seed plant is P. agnata, but the pollen plant is unknown. Based on the hybrid's size and flower, the pollen plant is likely P. macrophylla. When grown in very bright light, the leaves develop a wonderful pink hue. If grown in low light conditions, however, leaves will turn green, but very large and succulent-like.

Type of Plant: Tropical plant for windowsill growing.
Size: 6 inches across when mature.
Sunlight: Dappled to partial sun. Avoid hot sunlight.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: 1 part peat moss, 3 parts perlite.
Temperatures: Tolerant of cool temperatures but always protect from frost.

    I was ecstatic to see SNW sell this unique ping variety. I'm a sucker for the bigger pings. Go big it go home amirite? It arrived robust and very healthy with not a spec of soil disturbed. I LOVE how SNW uniquely packages their plants. It provides the best protection and I find out easier to unpack their carns vs. other sellers. And the best part is that it was shipped POTTED which is very hard to come by when buying carnivorous plants. I can't wait to see how big this pinky ping gets. It's already caught so many fungus gnats.

    My P x Titan arrived dormant, but very healthy. I am going to use the succulent leaves for propagation. It was nicely sized, about two inches in diameter dormant. Whenever SNW has pings in stock, make sure to get some!

    The plant I received was the biggest, nicest-looking butterwort plant I have ever seen. I am looking forward to seeing this one mature.

    I am looking forward to seeing this one mature and turn pink.... of the 4 plants I ordered this one worried me a bit -- but in the week it's been here it is sending up new leaves.... maybe he's harder to grow, but I have hope I'm up to the job.....
