Nepenthes Savior (Rooted Cutting)

Savior is a cultivar of Nepenthes spectabilis. It differs from the common form by its darkly colored pitchers that occurs in both the lower and upper pitchers. Pitchers also feature small yellow splotches that contrast nicely against the blackish-brown background. Cuttings from our mother plant have consistently produced only upper pitchers.

Type of Plant: Tropical pitcher plant for indoor growing.
Pitcher Size: Up to 9 inches.
Sunlight: Partial sun.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: Equal parts dried sphagnum moss and perlite only.
Temperatures: Above 70°F during the day; 55°-70°F during the night. Always protect from frost.
