This is a lovely complex hybrid, and no two seedlings look the same. So far, all have fuzzy leaves and pitchers and are showing strong mollis influence. All seedlings are displaying striped peristomes even at this size. The pitchers range in color from pale cream to burgundy, with varying degrees of mottling. We expect these plants to produce large, durable, and colorful pitchers, with dramatic striped and flared peristomes and throats that redden with age. Upper pitchers will reflex back, influenced by the lowii parentage.
GENERAL CARE
Type of Plant: Tropical plant for indoor growing.
Pitcher Size: Up to 8 inches.
Sunlight: Partial sun.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: Equal parts dried sphagnum moss and perlite only.
Temperatures: 70°-85°F during the day; 55°-70°F during the night. Always protect from frost.
