Nepenthes glabrata is famous for its dainty yet extremely colorful pitchers (up to 4 inches), its vining habit, and its narrow leaves. It prefers very mild daytime temperatures and thrives in bright light. It's a prize for any collector, and a good candidate for the grower who has limited space but plenty of light and a cool growing area. In time, this species can grow long, branching vines that will beautifully adorn your windowsill.
Type of Plant: Tropical pitcher plant for windowsill growing.
Pitcher Size Up to 4 inches.
Sunlight: Bright filtered to partial sun.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: Equal parts dried sphagnum moss and perlite.
Temperatures: Above 70°F during the day. Nighttime temperature of 50°-60°F is highly recommended for optimal growth. Always protect from frost.

I have ordered many times and actually used my plant points on this one. It’s the first time I’ve ever been disappointed with a plant from sarracenia northwest. It’s the tiniest smallest Nep ever but it’s doing well as all the plants they usually send to, there’s not much of a need to take a pic since the actual leaves are only about 3 inches there’s nothing impressive or beautiful I wish had not wasted the plant points for it though. ***RESPONSE BY SARRACENIA NORTHWEST *** We're sorry that the plant wasn't at a size you were expecting. However, the last photo is representative of the plants for sale. This species is also small. That's the nature of this plant. If you're looking for plants with really large leaves and pitchers, we have many others to choose from. Please let us know if you need further assistance.

N.Glabrata
The Glabrata is cute in photos but in person, they are adowable! One pitcher was only an inch tall with its lid opened, like the one in their photo. Only a week in my care and there is obvious growth. Sarracenia Northwest certainly provide a of love for their plants to show up in pristine, not over stressed, condition. Their packaging department is fantastic with very minimal stress to each plants they ship. Shipping plants potted, including their Butterworts has not only made the transition better for the plants but worry free that they will continue to thrive. Outstanding!

Nepenthes Glabrata
The plant came in great shape with all the pitchers intact without any signs of damage. The growth point also came in with no signs of stress either. It's been a month now and the plant has produced a new leaf and making new pitchers. I highly recommend this nursery for any new grower.

LOVE your plants...
I purchased a few pitcher plants years ago and I recently just built a indoor greenhouse. So I decided to order the plants that I Fell in love with from the same people.
