Nepenthes Black Miracle Hybrid

While this Nepenthes is marketed simply as Black Miracle, it's actually a hybrid - N. mirabilis var. globosa x ampullaria Black Miracle. It has unusual features you won't find in most Nepenthes. One of its parent plants is N. ampullaria Black Miracle, which is known for its dark pitchers and leaves. Its coloration comes through a bit, creating dark red pitchers and splashes of black on its leaves. Its peristome is beautifully striped. This plant appreciates warm nights (above 65°F) and warm days (above 75°F).

Pitcher Size: Up to 3 inches.
Sunlight: Partial sun. Avoid hot sunlight.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: Equal parts dried sphagnum moss and perlite only.
Temperatures: 77°-85°F during the day; 65°-70°F during the night. Always protect from frost.
