Nepenthes Black Miracle Hybrid

While this Nepenthes is marketed simply as Black Miracle, it's actually a hybrid - N. mirabilis var. globosa x ampullaria Black Miracle. It has unusual features you won't find in most Nepenthes. One of its parent plants is N. ampullaria Black Miracle, which is known for its dark pitchers and leaves. It's coloration comes through a bit, creating dark red pitchers and splashes of black on its leaves. It's peristome is beautifully striped. This plant appreciates warm nights (above 65°F) and warm days (above 75°F).

Pitcher Size: Up to 3 inches.
Sunlight: Bright filtered to partial sun.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: Equal parts dried sphagnum moss and perlite only.
Temperatures: Above 75°F during the day; 65°-70°F during the night. Always protect from frost.
