Heliamphora parva x Godzilla

This cross was created by Andreas Wistuba with the hopes of having a plant with the pitcher shape of Heliamphora parva and the size of Heliamphora Godzilla. It's still too soon to tell if the plant will get as tall as Godzilla (36 inches), but our mother plants routinely get up to 20 inches. But that's when we start dividing them because we just don't have the space to grow them to their full potential!

Type of Plant: Tropical pitcher plant for windowsill growing.
Native Habitat: Flat mountain tops of Venezuela.
Adult Pitcher Height: Up to 36 inches. Maybe.
Sunlight: Partial to full sun, but mild temperatures.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).  Allow water to drain through.
Soil: Equal parts dried sphagnum moss and perlite.  No garden soil, compost, or fertilizer.
Temperatures: Mild day temperatures.  Avoid excessive heat and scorching sunlight.  Nighttime temperature of 50°-65°F is recommended.  Always protect from frost. Best for the experienced grower.
