Heliamphora heterodoxa x minor
Though Heliamphora is generally regarded as a plant for the experienced grower, this hybrid is the easiest of the bunch. Adult specimens will produce pitchers 4-8 inches tall. The pitchers have a distinct flare with a red margin and reddish hue in the upper interior. Look for flowers in late winter and early spring.

Native Habitat: Flat mountain tops of Venezuela.

Sunlight: Partial to full sun, but mild temperatures.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less). Allow water to drain through.
Soil: Equal parts dried sphagnum moss and perlite. No garden soil, compost, or fertilizer.
Temperatures: Mild day temperatures. Avoid excessive heat and scorching sunlight. Nighttime temperature of 50°-65°F is recommended. Always protect from frost.
