A rosetted sundew that's native to the coastal mountains of South Africa. It's a demure plant that grows well in a windowsill that has dappled sunlight and cool temperatures.

Type of Plant: Tropical plant for windowsill growing.
Size: 3 inches across when mature.
Sunlight: Dappled sun. Avoid hot sunlight.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: Equal parts peat moss and perlite only.
Temperatures: Tolerant of cool temperatures but always protect from frost.

    I still lay awake in bed at night trying to figure out how my plants arrived in such pristine condition and I suspect this thought will haunt me for years to come as I keep buying more of these beauties.

    I received this plant in the best condition of any drosera I have ever had shipped. It arrived in great condition with copious amounts of dew which I attribute to excellent packaging and great overall health of the plant. It has been a little over month and it is still doing great, it is my favorite drosera in a fairly large collection. After a month of high light intensity it is developing amazing hints of green/orange/yellow coloration in its upper leaves typical of healthy venusta with huge amounts of dew. I will definitely be purchasing one or two more of these when they become available again.

    I wish that I had bought another one of these wonderful looking Sundews. When I first saw it --- I went to my laptop to get another one or two, but they were all sold out. At least I did receive one of these GREAT BEAUTIES with lots of growth and just covered with dew.

    The ONLY reason i didn't give 5 stars as a rating is cause it took a little longer to ship cause the seller was outta town, it was really my fault i didn't see the note he posted about shipping being held for a few days till he got back. I would gladly buy again...the plant was beautiful, packed perfectly, very healthy looking, my only advice would be to please make notes to buyer LARGER cause sometimes I'm blind lol!
