While this plant can get to impressive size, leaves growing 12-16 inches that will wrap around captured insects, it can be a bit of an enigma for some growers. The secret is growing it like a mountainous species - lots of sun but mild temperatures. A nighttime drop below 65°F is essential for optimal growth. Best for the experienced grower.

The plant came on time and very well packaged. The grow guide insert was very helpful in getting the plant started. I will definitely be buying from Sarracenia Northwest in the future!

There was almost no recovery time after shipping. The leaves are dewy and several new leaves have grown in about a month. Thanks!

    Nice size drosera!

Posted by Liza Wallner on January 18, 2014

These are nicely established plants. I bought 3 in this size and each is growing robustly in long fiver spagham moss and perlite. They have long roots and need a deep pot...it put mine in 6 inch pots.

Bought a Drosera Regia from you guys and couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience. The plant was in tremendous shape, great size and packaged beautifully. Very professional and extremely helpful. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to buy from Sarracenia Northwest again.
