Marston's Dragon is a cultivar hybrid of D. multifida x dichotoma. It has long red leaves that branches in a similar fashion as D. multifida, and it has the vigor and hardiness of D. dichotoma. When fully mature, leaves are often 12-16 inches long. Give this plant lots of direct sunlight, and we mean lots! You cannot give this sundew too much sun. It loves growing in warm bright windowsills with lots of direct sunlight. Use supplemental lighting if necessary..

Sunlight: Partial to full sun.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: Equal parts peat moss and perlite only.
Temperatures: Tolerant of cool temperatures but always protect from frost.

Wonderful Little Plant
Immediately out of its excellent shipping package, this little plant went to work. Under an LED full spectrum grow light, she has been catching fungus gnats, sprouting new growth and doing fabulous. A great addition to my plant family! I also love the supportive video care tips provided by Sarracenia Northwest, I have watched some of them multiple times, and they have been immensely helpful.

I have had my plants for several months now and they are amazing. They arrived lovingly packaged. They sit in RO water on the south side of the house window sill did great...moved them to an indoor sun room for plants...its winter in Erie PA...last place you would want to have to depend on solar panels, full spectrum LED lighting. Beautiful white flowers. The ability to catch bugs is crazy with this verity. My favorite.
