Drosera madagascariensis has a wide distribution, from Madagascar and South Africa to Congo, Guinea, and Nigeria. It grows from a single stem that often rambles along the soil surface. The growing section is approximately 2-3 inches long with orange-yellow leaves. As the sundew grows, the older section will turn brown. The plant produces flowers that seem to self-pollinate and readily set seeds. Grow this plant in a sunny and warm location.
