This sundew has long thread-like leaves, which gives this plant its common name, dewthread. Long thin leaves slowly rise, standing tall and proud. Small drops of nectar glisten ever so slightly, reflecting the sun's rays and enticing insects to taste its sweet offerings. By the end of summers, the plant is flecked with trophies of its conquests. In winter, the plant will die back and form a resting bud sitting at soil level. Growth will resume in mid-spring.

    Great plant

Posted by Gabriel Hoshino on June 28, 2015

This plant arrived in excellent condition. It was packed very well and, while it looked a little roughed up when I first opened it, within a few days it began growing new leaves and it produced plenty of dew. Over the past month it has grown a good deal and has even flowered and begun producing seeds. Overall it is a great plant.

    Amazing plant

Posted by Nam on May 20, 2015

Everyday I check on it I find at least two new bugs captured. It's already throwing up three flower stalks and I didn't think I would like this plant as much as I do.

Always a standard in my collection

Posted by Alan Cartagena on October 12, 2014

This sundew is always a standard in my collection. It will never be phased out. These sundews as well as other sundews are beautiful from a distance and look like they have morning dew all the time and it's only when you come close do they really show they can catch insects! I'm always amazed from time to time what they are capable of catching especially when grouped up together! RECOMMENDED without a doubt.
