This hybrid has dark brown pitchers and dark leaves. It grows very well as a houseplant in a sunny windowsill, which makes it an excellent plant for first-time growers.

Type of Plant: Tropical pitcher plant for indoor growing.
Pitcher Size: Up to 8 inches.
Sunlight: Bright filtered to partial sun.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: Equal parts dried sphagnum moss and perlite only.
Temperatures: Above 70°F during the day; 60°-70°F during the night. Always protect from frost.

    They are still alive, the only pod died, they can't tolerate full 90 sun, so brought them inside under grow lights and doing better.

    I got the bogo offer on these. Came in wonderful shape. One has 4 fully formed pitchers & 2 new leaves starting. WOW- it couldn't get any better than that. The other one has 2 pitchers and also new growth. I just can't say enough good about your plants, service, and packing. It's all brilliant

    I love these plants! I really like the red brown color and the pitchers are loaded with spikes. Love it, and they are doing really well considering my cooler space I live in.

    Two of them are very healthy and have beautiful pitchers. They came in a good packaging. They are very easy to grow up and now they have more pitchers and young “pups”. I appreciate.

    Plants arrived larger than expected, in great shape and are proving to be very robust! Just a few weeks and they are both forming new pitchers and seem very happy on my window sill with a single Sansi LED grow light. Would not hesitate to order more plants from Sarracenia Northwest in the future!

    Received six plants in beautiful condition. Replanted them in two hanging pots ( 3 per pot ) and they are doing great.
