Received my order. Not much happening yet. Hope to see what I have and who makes it.
I've always wanted a couple of these every year, but they usually sell out before I get a chance. I happen to get 10 this year and although they're twice as expensive as the previous year, they're still quite a steal. I received 13 very small rhizomes, about thumb sizes at most. However, they are mature plants, as within a month of planting them about 3 started to flower. They all seem to be different, so it's a great variety and I'm very happy about that. If SNW continues to sell these at around this price, I'll get 10-20 every year and put them in their own pot. Mine are currently in a 12x12x12 white square pot and pretty much every rhizome started putting up pitchers. Can't wait to see what they all are.
My bare root Sarracenias arrived in good shape (they even sent a bunch of extras since the shipment was delayed). I planted them as directed and they are growing like gang busters!! I'm very pleased.
I was suggested to this company from a coworker, she informed me of a fantastic deal SNW was having on Bare Root Sarracenias. Upon visiting the site, I was pleasantly surprised with how helpful the descriptions of products were. Ordering was also a breeze. SNW kept me updated as winter storms lead to delivery delays. The company provided tracking number and genuinely made me feel they appreciated my business. Products: I ordered 2 10 packs of Bare Root Sarracenias. I received 28-30. I think I received a few extra because 2-3 of my rhizomes were rather small. However after successful transplanting and a few weeks of warm spring weather, all Sarracenias are showing new growth. Altogether, I highly recommend SNW for both their customer service and fantastic products.
All are thriving and a few will have large pitchers soon.
I was ready to pot my bare root plants immediately upon arrival, but since our weather has been horrible and colder than normal, I haven't removed the straw I covered them with when I placed them in the water tubs. I'm optimistic that they will grow, but I don't have the greenest of thumbs.
The rhizomes arrived in good condition. I was able to group them into 3 sizes: small medium and larger. I received 13 rhizomes. 3 more than advertised. I live in North Central Florida so things have been warming up here and the early signs of spring are evident. All of my rhizomes are thriving. Some are sending up flower stalks.
I was very surprised how healthy these roots were when they arrived. It was just like I had dug them from my yard. Leaves are starting to grow. Just in time to go outside.
Loved them and hope you offer them again
The product arrived in excellent condition and there were extra pieces included with the order. I planted them all and they are doing great. Thank You!
