Bare Root Sarracenia Rhizomes - Recent Divisions

Bulk rhizomes are recent divisions (within the past 30 days) and represent a purely random selection of species and hybrids. Plants are strictly unlabeled and unidentified.
Type of Plant: Outdoor perennial for container growing.
Sunlight: Full sun during the growing season.
Water: Low-mineral water (50 ppm or less).
Soil: Equal parts peat moss and perlite only.
Winter: Dormant. Minimal protection in USDA zones 7-9. Mulch in colder regions.
2-OUNCE PACK
Recent divisions are sold in 2-ounce packs (pre-packaged weight). The actual number of rhizomes in each pack will vary due to size and variety.
*All photos are examples of how 2-ounce packs may vary in number and size of rhizomes. Banana is for scale and not included.
Bare root rhizomes are shipped without pots or soil. Please read the FAQ below for details.

Great looking plants
This isn’t my first purchase of bare root plants from Sarracenia NW. This is a great deal for a variety of plants. I suspect some of these I’ll discover I already have, but hopefully some will be new to me!

Bulk Bare Roots
The bulk roots by weight was a good idea. That way even the smaller Rubra-ish rhizomes seem like a great deal. When it was number of rhizomes these small ones did not seem like a deal. This was a good mix of a few large and mostly medium and small rhizomes. The bare rhizomes were healthy and are starting to send up new growth. Can't wait to see what random varieties are in this batch.

Quality Sarracenia Bare Root Rhizomes

I appreciate the great communication. The plants were well packaged/protected, nice size, AND...I received six instead of five. Several have already started to send out short shoots in spite of the fact their pots are outside and our last frost date is not until May 10th ( they are covered at night ). Nice selection
The rhizomes arrived healthy and looking good. They have been in the ground for a few weeks now an all of them have growth. Looking forward to see what they turn out to be.

Pack had 6 plants not the 5. Was a great buy with 5 plants even better with 6.
