Bug Bat is a cultivar of a natural hybrid - Sarracenia rubra x minor. It is one of the most popular Sarracenia we have, next to Judith Hindle. An excellent selection of an uncommon cross, the copper-red traps are extremely stout at full size. The speckling of light windows on the back of the traps makes them glow in the morning and evening. Pitchers feature a large, pointed hood over a gullet of a mouth. A vigorous grower that clumps readily and can get quite large in just a few seasons.
